Village
A village is a clustered human settlement or community, larger than a hamlet but smaller than a town, with a population ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand. Though often located in rural areas, the term urban village is also applied to certain urban neighborhoods. Villages are normally permanent, with fixed dwellings; however, transient villages can occur. Further, the dwellings of a village are fairly close to one another, not scattered broadly over the landscape, as a dispersed settlement.
Although many patterns of village life have existed, the typical village was small, consisting of perhaps 5 to 30 families. Homes were situated together for sociability and defense, and land surrounding the living quarters was farmed.

Capital City
A capital city or capital is the municipality exercising primary status in the state, province, or another region, usually as its seat of government.
A capital is a city that physically encompasses the offices of its respective government; the status as the capital is often designated by its constitution.
In some jurisdictions, the different branches of government are located in different settlements.
In some cases, a distinction is made between the official (constitutional) capital and the seat of government, which is in another place.
The word capital derives from the Latin caput, which means “head”. In several English-speaking states, the terms county town and county seat are also used in lower subdivisions.
In unitary states, subnational capitals are called “administrative centers”. An alternative term for the capital city is the head town. The capital is often the largest city of its constituent.

Panda
Panda or also known as “Giant Panda” or “Panda Bear” is a species of bear originated from Central China.
The most distinguishable things from them are the black and white patterns of the body and also the black fur encircling their eyes.
They consume bamboo as their main diet but they also eat other grasses, wild tubers, birds, rodents, honey, eggs, fish, oranges, and banana occasionally.
Panda has two legs and two hands. Although they can stand on two feet, most of the time they are just like any other bears who walked on both hands and legs.
They have five fingers and a thumb on their paws. The thumb is a modified bone that helps them to hold bamboo while eating.
The fur around their belly is white while the fur around their chest, hands, legs, and ears are black.
An adult panda can reach a size of 1,2 to 1,9 m long from nose to tail. The tail is about 10 to 15 cm long. The body height of an adult panda can reach 60 to 90 cm and their body weight can reach 160 kg.
They can live up to 20 years in the wild and about 30 years in captivity. They are a solitary animal that has a defined territory.
They communicate with each other by making sound and through scent marking.

Komodo Dragon
Do you know what is the largest lizard? This lizard is called komodo. It lives in the scrub and woodland of a few Indonesian islands.
Komodo dragon is the world’s heaviest lizard, weighing 150 pounds or more. The largest Komodo ever measured was more than 10 feet (3 meters) long and weighed 366 pounds (166 kg) but the average size of Komodo in the wild is about 8 feet (2.5 meters) long and 200 pounds (91 kg)
Komodo has gray scaly skin, a pointed snout, powerful limbs, and a muscular tail. They use their keen sense of smell to locate decaying animal remains from several miles away. They also hunt other lizards as well as large mammals and are sometimes cannibalistic.
The Komodo dragon’s teeth are almost completely covered by its gums. When it feeds, the gums bleed, creating an ideal culture for virulent bacteria. The bacteria that live in the Komodo dragon’s saliva causes septicemia, or blood poisoning, in its victims. A dragon will bite its prey, then follow it until the animal is too weak to carry on.
This lizard species is threatened by hunting, loss of prey species, and habitat loss.

Aurora
Aurora is a natural phenomenon that refers to northern light, southern light, and polar light. It is a colorful natural light display that appears in the sky in the evening and the night, seen in the sky of the Arctic and Antarctic region.
Because the aurora is only found at those regions, people from different areas have to spend much money and should prepare their physics to be able to see it directly.
The aurora has a complex mixed color that will change every day. The beauty is surely a thousand times better than fireworks in the new year’s time.
That is why some people dreamed to see it.
Unfortunately, the way to see it in the arctic and antarctic regions is too risky and dangerous and perhaps only a few people can do this including some experts and researchers.
The detailed explanation of this phenomenon is not fully understood, but the cause of aurora has basically involved the interaction between the solar wind with the earth’s magnetosphere.
First, the storms on the sun send a gust of charged solar particles. When the earth is in the path of that particle stream, then the earth’s magnetosphere reacts.
At that time, the earth electrons move to higher-energy orbits or further away from the nucleus. After that, the electrons move back to a lower-energy orbit.
This process will release the particle light or photon which creates aurora.

Ants
Ants are a type of insect with the family Formicidae. Ants have more than 12,000 species, most of which live in the tropics. But some types of ants that are well known to humans are black ants, Carpenter ants, red ants, fire ants, and Weaver ants.
Most ants are known as social insects because they form colonies and their regular nests have thousands of ants per colony. One colony can control a large area to support their lives. Colony members are divided into worker ants, male ants, and queen ant. It is also possible to have a guard ant group. The queen ant is in charge of reproducing (producing eggs) and is highly upheld by the members. The queen ant can live up to 20 years old. All worker ants are females, but they do not produce eggs. They devote themselves to taking care of the eggs of the queen. The most important thing workers ant job is to serve the queen and ensure that the queen and her “babies” are safe. In contrast to the Queen with her long age to live, male ants have a shorter life. Their only duty when they are adults is to marry the young and queen. Male ants usually die 2 weeks after marrying the ant queen.

Laptop
A laptop often called a notebook, is a portable personal computer with a clamshell form factor, suitable for mobile use. Although originally there was a distinction between laptops and notebooks, the former being bigger and heavier than the latter, as of 2014, there is often no longer any difference. Laptops are commonly used in a variety of settings, such as at work, in education, and for personal multimedia.
A laptop combines the components, inputs, outputs, and capabilities of a desktop computer, including the display screen, speakers, a keyboard, and pointing devices (such as a touchpad or trackpad) into a single unit. Most 2016-era laptops also have integrated webcams and built-in microphones. The device can be powered either from a rechargeable battery or by mains electricity from an AC adapter. Laptops are diverse devices and specialized kinds, such as rugged notebooks for use in construction or convertible computers, have been optimized for specific uses. The hardware specifications, such as the processor speed and memory capacity significantly vary between different types, makes, and models.

Jasmine
Jasmine is an evergreen semi-vining shrub native to tropical areas of Southeast Asia, Africa, and Australia. The plants are usually up to 3 meters high and 2 meters wide.
Jasmine is a climbing vine with oval, shiny leaves and tubular, waxy-white flowers. It has small white star-shaped flowers.
The Jasmine flower releases its fragrance at night after the sun has set and especially when the moon is waxing towards fullness, thus it is associated with soothing peaceful night-time moods.
The leaves are oval rich green and have five to nine leaflets, each up to 2½ inches long.
The plant flowers from April to September. Jasmine is propagated by cuttings of nearly ripe wood in summer. Cuttings are planted in 3-inch pots within 4 weeks, then to 6-inches when pot is becoming filled with roots.
The soil should be kept moist but well-drained for optimum growth. Frequent pruning is required to grow it as a shrub of the desired size.
Pruning also helps keep an abundance of flowers, since flowers are produced on new wood. It grows in full sun to partial shade. Fertilize monthly with a balanced fertilizer.

Country
A country is a region that is identified as a distinct entity in political geography. A country may be an independent sovereign state or one that is occupied by another state, as a non-sovereign or formerly sovereign political division, or a geographic region associated with sets of previously independent or differently associated people with distinct political characteristics. Regardless of the physical geography, in the modern internationally accepted legal definition as defined by the League of Nations in 1937 and reaffirmed by the United Nations in 1945, a resident of a country is subject to the independent exercise of legal jurisdiction.
Sometimes the word “countries” are used to refer both to sovereign states and to other political entities, while other times it refers only to states. For example, the CIA World Factbook uses the word in its “Country name” field to refer to “a wide variety of dependencies, areas of special sovereignty, uninhabited islands, and other entities in addition to the traditional countries or independent states”.

AIR POLLUTION
Every day both industrial and domestic chimneys emit vast amounts of dirt and harmful gases. The exhaust fumes from thousands of car engines add to this huge volume of filth, Sulphur dioxide, produced mainly by the burning of coal and oil, combines with the moisture of the air to form sulphuric acid. This eats away stone, brick, and even metal. Doctors reason that if it can do this, it must damage the lungs of people who breathe it, especially over a period of many years.
Usually, the effects of air pollution are not instantly noticeable. Occasionally, though,, there have been catastrophic “smogs”. (The word smog is a combination of smoke and fog). One of these occurred in the town of Donora, Pennsylvania, in the U.S.A. The valley in which the town lies traps the smoke and fumes from the steelworks and chemical plants that fill it.
One day, in October 1948, unusual weather conditions prevented the smog from lifting by the afternoon, as it normally did. Instead, it hung over the town for three days. By the end of the third day, nearly 6000 people were ill. More than 60 percent of those aged 65 and over were seriously ill. 20 people died. At last, a heavy rain shower cleared the smog.
One of the chief causes of air pollution in many cities is the internal combustion engine. Cars, lorries, and buses give out the gas called carbon monoxide, which in high concentrations can kill a person in a confined space. Cars also throw into the air fine particles of rubber and asphalt from their tires and the road, and particles of asbestos from their brake-linings. These can cause damage to the lungs when breathed in.
Another source of pollution is nuclear power stations which produce a great amount of poisonous radio-active waste. This waste must be sealed up and buried beneath the ground or seabed so carefully that there is no danger of leakage. Some scientists are very worried that we are not being careful enough with nuclear waste. It may not all be buried safely. Also, they fear there may be a serious accident at a nuclear power station, releasing deadly radiation into the air.

Bicycle
Bicycles are human-powered vehicles, typically featuring pedals, a seat, two wheels, and a frame. Before the word ‘bicycle’ become popular (coming from the French word ‘bicyclette’), bikes were typically called ‘velocipedes’.
Bicycles are used for transport, recreation, competitive racing, courier delivery, and a range of other tasks.
Bicycles typically use a chain to transmit power to the rear wheel. Some bicycles feature suspension.
This is especially common in mountain bikes where they are used to help deal with the vibration caused by uneven surfaces.
Road bikes typically have thinner tires inflated to higher pressures than those found on mountain bikes, taking advantage of the smoother surfaces that roads generally provide.

Robot
Basically, a robot is a machine. But what makes it special is that a robot is a programmable machine by computer to do a series of activities which is used for some purpose. The idea of creating a robot is to help humans to make easy life.
Nowadays, the kinds and the specification of robots are various. There are robots for war, robots to work, robots to secure, and so on.
A robot can be used to overcome the limitations of a human beings in doing something and usually it refers to something dangerous.
For example, to understand the whole solar system outside the earth, robots can be created and programmed for a specific duty to get any information such as collects the data about any materials on Mars.
A robot can do this easily and better than a human because a robot only needs one energy sources such as an atomic battery while human still needs water, food, and oxygen to be survived on the alien lands.
Thus, the robot is perhaps the most important modern technology creature after machines and computers to help humans get a better life.
Even though, there are still some debates about the existence of some robots in which it is considered as something bad such as soldier robots.
Perhaps this case is easy to be understood by watching a Robocop movie in which a robot has no heart, morals, desire, and perspective to understand humans as the way a human does.

Elephant
Elephants are the largest land animals on Earth, and they’re one of the most unique-looking animals, too. With their characteristic long noses, or trunks; large, floppy ears; and wide, thick legs, there is no other animal with a similar physique.
Most experts recognize two species of elephant: the Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) and the African elephant (Loxodonta africana), who live on separate continents and have many unique features. There are several subspecies that belong to one or the other of these two main species, though experts argue over how many subspecies there are and whether or not they constitute separate species.
African elephants live in sub-Saharan Africa, the rainforests of Central and West Africa, and the Sahel desert in Mali, according to National Geographic. Asian elephants live in Nepal, India, and Southeast Asia in scrub forests and rainforests.

Flood
A flood is one of natural disaster caused by overflow water that submerges land which is usually dry.
The European Union (EU) Floods Directive defines a flood as a covering by water of land not normally covered by water. Some floods can occur suddenly and quickly. Others take days or more.
There are several types of floods. Periodic floods occur naturally on many rivers, forming an area known as the flood plain.
These river floods usually result from heavy rain, sometimes combined with melting snow, which causes the rivers to overflow their banks.
A flood that rises and falls rapidly with little or no advance warning is called a flash flood.
When floods happen, the water can carry along the object. Flooding is very dangerous for human beings.
It also has great erosive power and can be extremely destructive.

Mouse-Deer
Mouse-deer, are small ungulates that make up the family Tragulidae, the only members of the infraorder Tragulina. They are found mostly in forests in South and Southeast Asia, with a single species in the rainforests of Central and West Africa.
Mouse-deer has primitive features, closer to non-ruminants such as pigs. All species in the family lack horns, but both sexes have elongated canine teeth. These are especially prominent in males, where they project out on either side of the lower jaw and are used in fights. Their legs are short and thin, which makes them lack in agility but also helps them maintain a smaller profile to aid in running through the dense foliage of their environments.
They are solitary or live in pairs. The young are weaned at three months of age and reach sexual maturity between five and 10 months. Parental care is relatively limited. Although they lack the types of scent glands found in most other ruminants, they do have a chin gland for marking each other as mates or antagonists, and, in the case of the water chevrotain, anal and preputial glands for marking territory. Their territories are relatively small, on the order of 13–24 hectares (32–59 acres), but neighbors generally ignore each other, rather than compete aggressively.

Drone
A drone is an unmanned aircraft. The term drone, more widely used by the public, refers to the resemblance of dumb-looking navigation and loud-and-regular motor sounds to the male bee. The drone is also known as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), as an unmanned aircraft system (UAS), or by several other names.
The flight of UAVs may operate with various degrees of autonomy: either under remote control by a human operator or fully autonomously, by computers. A UAV uses aerodynamic forces to provide vehicle lift and can fly autonomously or be piloted remotely. It can also be expendable or recoverable, and can carry a lethal or nonlethal payload.”
